ISPF 2021

It has been some time since Samobor and percussion have seriously fallen in love.

After a decade of colouring the Samobor Autumns with numeros shades of percussion and marimba music, and bringing exciting concerts by renowned international guests under the name of Ivana Bilic Marimba Week, we have decided to turn to the starry skies and late summer nights for new inspiration.

In these unusual times we don't want to give up on music and art.

The opening of the new season brings to the audience a unique collaboration between the percussion ensemble Sudar Percussion and the female folk vocal group Singrlice. It is a symbolic celebration of Samobor and the creativity of its artists.

This years' featured international guests include some of the most wonderfully virtuosic and dynamic artists. Lucid duo (composer and marimbist Tomasz Goliński and Irena Manolova) have prepared a program featuring original compositions and arrangements for marimba duo. Another evening concert, this time spiced with  multipercussion, will be brought to you by Aleksandra Šuklar.

All along, the open air stage will be ready to host some gifted and interesting musicians from Zagreb Academy of Music, since it has become our tradition to promote young, upcoming percussionists at the festival.
